Fewer and slower moves?

Hi ladies! I'm almost 29 weeks and I noticed a few days ago my baby seems to move less frequently and slower than he used to. He does move every day and several times a day but I don't know exactly how to count kicks or if it's normal because he has less room every day! My next appointment is in 9 days but I don't want to be paranoid about it nor careless...anybody else experiencing something like this?!
