DH and I have already decided that we will pass on his first name when we have a son. We are planning on using it as a middle name. Lately he has also wanted to use a family name from his side if we have a second son.... I really don’t like any of the names in his family and there aren’t any names that are tradition to pass down. I know he wants to honor someone he loves but it is also important to me to really love our children’s names. Should I just give in and use a name I don’t like as a middle name?
