Did anyone else who had an early mc give their baby a name? I was only 8 weeks so we never knew the gender but I just feel like maybe giving a gender neutral name will make it easier to cope. Like this is my baby, this really happened type thing.

I was only 9 weeks. Named my baby Calla, means beautiful. It helps to cope

I never really knew how far along I was when I miscarried but figured I was at least 2 months. I just had the feeling it was a boy cause it was so different from my daughter. I wasn’t with the dad so I had to grieve alone but my I did name my baby Elliott Mykal even got his name tattooed on my leg along with my nieces name who we also lost at birth.

I had a missed miscarriage some time ago and I was 12 weeks but baby stopped at 8, because we didn’t know the gender we just chose to go with the nickname we had picked. So that baby was known as Bean
