High hCG levels mean Twins???

I had my hCG levels checked today. I'm 5W1D and my levels are 19,140. I've been reading that normal for 5 weeks is 15k if levels are higher than that, it's a possible indicator of twins. Is this something I should even pay attention to? Can anyone relate to this?

My levels were extremely high, and everyone told me I could be having a molar pregnancy due to how high they were. They were 135,000 at 5 weeks 2 days. But I just have one sweet healthy baby boy growing ☺️💙

At 4 weeks mine was tripling instead of just doubling, I thought oh my maybe I'm pregnant with twins because it's runs on both my husbands side of the family and on both of my sides of the family. But there's only one baby, some people produce more hormones when pregnant than others (:

Nope. Everyone's different. I was 5 or 6wks and 89,000hcg. One little baby girl :)

My HCG levels were super high. No twins but I am pregnant with a girl. I read an article and my doctor also said that most women who have high HCG levels and carry singletons carry girls. I got severe morning sickness & horrible mood swings b/c of the rapid increase of hormones

Everyone is so different you can't go off anyone else's numbers. At 5 weeks I was at 1000 which is in the normal range.
