Headaches! 😫

Megan • Happily married. One 2015 angel baby, little girl born Sept 2016, & one due June 2019.

These headaches are killing me and nearly daily. I drink water and eat a balanced diet. I’m taking Tylenol (which hardly does anything) practically daily.

Anyone else? Any reminders?

I’ll be 20 weeks tomorrow.

Try a spoonful of honey. Works for me. My doctor said my blood sugar may be dropping.

Aww thank you! This is my second baby so I have some “mom chub” and definitely started showing sooner.

Me too! Stay away from chocolate and when you feel one coming out an ice pack on the back of your head almost to your neck. Maybe a small can of coke, that has helped my migraines a lot!

It could be hormonal headaches. There isn't much you can do for them. 😥

I’ve been suffering from debilitating, intense and long migraines from 19-21 weeks (and counting). I would speak to your provider if it’s interfering with life. I’m taking 5mg of Reglan 2xs a day, on 5 days of 40mg prednisone to help with inflammation & 500mg of Tylenol every 4 hours, up to 4,000mg a day. Non medicated things I’ve tried: chiropractor (which felt wonderful but had little relief from my headaches), scheduled to try acupuncture, essential oils (tension relief from Plant Therepy), warm shower with ice pack on my neck, feet in hot water with an ice pack on my neck, caffeine (200mg a day) and head massages from my husband. Hang in there! I hope you feel better soon.

I have awful headaches too! Apparently its normal until 22 weeks. I didnt had this with my first. The only thing that works for me is a little walk around the neighbourhood even when I really dont feel like it.

I’ve been having constant headaches that have literally lasted on and off for weeks. It’s been terrible. What helps is a coke, some Tylenol and the BEST thing is sticking an ice pack at the base of your neck and on your forehead. That doesn’t totally cure it but it helps tremendously!!

I use packs of frozen peas and put a piece of paper towel in between the peas and my skin so it isn’t too cold.

🙋🏼‍♀️ my OB recommended Tylenol and a Diet Coke. They did prescribe me a medication that I haven’t taken yet and am trying not to, but I believe it’s called Reglan?! They would want me to take with Benadryl and Tylenol so I’m a little apprehensive. I haven’t had caffeine in well over 5 years but man, does even a little Diet Coke help!

Also I’ve been getting a massage every 4 weeks to relieve pressure on my upper body. This is baby #2 and I feel like this time around I’m just sore all over!

In the same bought. I’m 20 weeks today. Been struggling with headaches and not sure what’s going on other than I’m pregnant. My blood pressure is normal. Good luck girl!
