Mom buns?

Question

Please show me a pic of your go to messy mom bun and tell me how you do it. I don’t know how to do hair and I only have one “go to” bun but it’s not even really a bun. I just don’t pull my hair all the way through on the last twist of the rubber band. 
I need something really easy and simple.

I grab my hair up in a pony, twist it, then put it around in the shape of a bun. Then put a hair tie around the bun, it's actually a rather nice looking bun for being so easy.

I just take all my hair and pull it up and twist it and then secure it with a rubber band and maybe two Bobby pins! Side note I have really long hair that’s pretty thick as well

I have a 2.5 year old and a 7 month old I gave up and cut off 15 inches so I could rock a man bun lol

I basically do what you said.  Pull it up really fast and instead of pulling it all the way through I just leave it in.  I do it all 3 times that I'm wrapping the pony tail though.  Or back when my hair was thicker I did it twice then again with another pony. Right now I'm shedding so badly from postpartum that I refuse to pull my hair back because there's a huge bald spot at my hairline.  😫
