Cycle day 89

Ok so earlier this year my husband and I started TTC and decided to take a break from the disappointment and started TTC again this past June. The first day of my last period was June 4th and haven't had a period since. Went to my doctor on the 8th of this month and she said that it's possible I haven't ovulated yet or already did and got pregnant late and might be to soon to know. She said that if I don't get it by end of September than she can give me something to bring it on. But am very worried that it's going to mess with my body( except my system is apparently already messed up) and she also said to keep testing every week to see if I did end up pregnant. Bought a test today and am taking it tomorrow. Has this happened to anyone else and did end up being pregnant??
