When to tell people not to kiss my son?

I’m due literally the 1st of April and don’t know when to just let everybody know, I don’t want them kissing him. Family or not. And I don’t wanna come off rude either. 🙃🙃🙃

either do it face to face when you see other people, or maybe a post on facebook if you have one, otherwise a group message for friends and family (better this way in case there are easily offended ones lol)

Maybe as people bring up when he is due and when he is born. That way its not like out of nowhere. It will fit conversation.

I'm due April 14th and I've already been telling people not to kiss my son. I'm also limiting his visitors until I get comfortable with being a first time mom

Tell them now so they get the point. You can even put a sign on your door that asks not to kiss your baby so they know before entering. I’m thinking of getting a bib for events that says please don’t kiss baby.

Start now and then again every time you hand your baby to someone to hold until they’ve got the info. Usually I never had to say anything after the first handoff. I would say a quick “we don’t do mouths on the baby” before they actually had the baby in their hands.
