Heartbeat

So I had my 12 week appointment today and my doctor was unable to find the heartbeat with the Doppler but didn’t do an ultrasound to ensure everything was okay. I’ve had some cramping the past few days and now I’m freaking out. My doctor said everything is fine but I’m very worried. Anyone else ever have an experience like this? What should I do? Also, I do not have any bleeding or spotting.
