How did you tell your spouse you’re pregnant?

Hi everyone! I just took my first positive test, and am dying to tell my husband!! There’s tons of cute ideas on Pinterest, but I wanted to hear everyone’s story on how they did it. Thanks!!!

I asked my husband to come help me with something in the bedroom and had this laid out on the bed for him. I got it all on video also. Now I tell him that I lied to him though because we’re pregnant with twins 😂

The first time I gave him an adorable onesie that said “Midwesterner” on it with hops (my husband is a brewer) and the pee stick. I had purchased the onesie when we started TTC over a year before. Sadly that pregnancy ended in miscarriage. The second time, I just cried and gave him the pee stick and said it will probably not stick because the last one didn’t. He was very upset and we had a fight about it. He said he wanted to celebrate no matter what happens.

2nd pregnancy I texted him while he was at work and sent him a pic..... I can’t keep a secret for shit even when he’s asleep or at work 😂

I made a card for my husband. We had just closed on our home so we were in the process of moving into our house, therefore, I did not have time to think of super cute ideas lol.🤷🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ We went out to dinner and I gave him the card. It said "Dear Daddy, Mommy loves you a lot, I mean A LOT! I know you love her just as much, maybe even more. You two are perfect for each other and I am so blessed to have you two as parents. I cannot wait to move out of mommy's belly and into the house you just purchased so it can be a home. By the way daddy, mommy says you are a pretty good football coach. I cannot wait to see for myself. See you in October. Until then, I'll enjoy growing and making mommy fat." It was corny, but cute lol.🤷🏾‍♀️ When my parents and my in-laws came up to see our new house, we thought of very cute ideas to reveal the news to them.

I did a test and ran downstairs. I handed him the test and instruction leaflet. I just said I don't understand what it's saying and he stared at it for a while. He then realised that I was winding him up and he started crying. He had also handed me a gin ice lolly and took it straight-out of my hands and gave me a fab ice lolly instead😂

I got a sandwich bun from the grocery store and put it in our oven with a little flag that said "Made in Florida" (where we conceived on vacation). Needless to say he was fucking shocked! 🤯

I used his dress shirt from our wedding, made a pillow out of it and I added a decal that said best dad in the world.

I woke him up crying (happy tears) and handed him my pee stick. Not the cutest lol but we had just lost our first baby 2 months before so it was really emotional. I had thought about cute ideas a lot beforehand and his birthday was 3 days later but in the moment i just couldn’t wait to tell him.
