20 weeks and pelvic discomfort

I'm having abdominal and pelvic discomfort, occasional menstrual type cramps and think I might be having Braxton hicks contractions. Has anyone else gone through this at such an early point? I've had menstrual cramps this entire pregnancy, but they went away for weeks and now suddenly returned, more frequently and crampier
