My mom out of the blue today decided to get rid of our cats that we’ve had for 9!!! Years!! They’ve always clawed the furniture but I guess today she decided she was done. They haven’t done anything differently this week than they have over the last 9 years. I’m absolutely crushed. She just said “I want them gone by the end of the week. They’re going to a shelter. I’m done.” She used to love these cats more than anything. I don’t get it. My heart is broken and I’ve been sobbing all day.
