Edit: Just to add I can’t have sex. Like I mentioned orgasm (contracting uterus) causes the bleeding. Also the wet dreams are causing me to have REAL orgasms, that’s the issue.

I have never in my life had a wet dream. During my last pregnancy the one time I decided to have sex at 9 weeks it caused heavy bleeding. (That pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage- though not related to the sex.)

Because of that we decided no sex or orgasm during the first trimester this time around. However at 8 and half weeks I woke up from sleep due to an orgasm from a wet dream. I was shocked! I got up to pee and immediately started to gush blood and bleed heavy and passing extra large clots. Thankfully my babies were fine.

Then again at 11 weeks I had ANOTHER freaking wet dream and again it caused bleeding for a week! And I passed a large clot. I had another ultrasound and again, babies are fine.

Then this morning I wake up to another stupid dream and now I’ve been spotting all day.

At this point I just don’t know what to do. I don’t know how to stop having these dreams and I know there isn’t anything to stop them. It’s so frustrating and scary! At this point I’m scared to even fall asleep. I’m so exhausted emotionally from all the blood and clots.

Anyone else having wet dreams?
