My partner and I were planning on announcing our pregnancy at 12 weeks (end of feb). His family are having a big party for his grandpas 90th in the middle of March. My partners cousin will be there and she was born without a womb. My MIL has basically told me we ‘can’t announce until afterwards’ (I will be 16/17 weeks at the party). My FIL is suggesting I ‘wear baggy clothes’. I’ve been quite tearful (thanks hormones!)

We wanted to do a nice Facebook post and I now feel that we can’t tell our friends and family because of his one cousin. I understand how the news may be hard for her to take but I don’t want to put our announcement to EVERYONE be put on hold for one person. I don’t want to hide and feel ashamed of my pregnancy.
