So my fiancé and I were originally wanting a big wedding but we have realized 2 important things....

1) We can’t afford that

2) We are the type of people who don’t like attention so I can already tell you we will have a very boring wedding.

We’ve been talking about possibly eloping at the court house and then a couple of months later having a “reception”/party with our friends and family.

Has anyone done this? If so, do you think it was a good choice? If not would you consider it?
