i’m a grown woman in my mid 30s and i think i should be less bothered than i am about this... my boyfriend has photos on his facebook from way back, high school, college, adult life. that includes women he’s dated, like his last long term relationship. i don’t feel like it’s right to ask him to set those photos to private because it’s not like those times or parts of his life didn’t exist... but it does feel a little weird to have photos of me and him now, along with his older photo albums of his exes. i’m not insecure, which is why i haven’t considered asking him to do something about it. it’s like a journal kind of, right? your old photo albums (online) of your life. i’m not sure why i feel weird about it. i guess because it’s like there are him and these women, and then it becomes more recently photos of me and him...
