I would definitely call your dr tomorrow about the red blood. I’m not certain going to the Er is the best option unless you’re in serious pain. If you have pain on one side with blood, I’d be more inclined to go to the ER bc it could be an ectopic pregnancy. If you do go to the ER, it is probably too early to hear a heartbeat to determine if everything is okay. I’d continue to watch it, and try to stay calm as much as you can until you can get in contact with your dr tomorrow.

If you are miscarrying the er cant do anything. They cant stop what may be already happening. Unfortunately its not considered an emergency. If this happens to be normal for you(i say that because blood doesn't always mean loss) you'd risk going around people who are really sick at the er. Best bet is to call your doctor in the morning.

I would go to ER, impossible to know if baby is okay. I miscarried at 5 weeks, started with brown discharge and cramping that turned to a lot of red blood with clots over 24 hours. I hope you have a better outcome ❤️

Of you are not filling a pad every 30min-1hr and there is no cramping along with the blood you could have just irritated your cervix with sex. I would hold off on the ER visit unless the bleeding becomes super heavy with big clots along with intense cramping. Just relax tonight don’t do anything to strenuous keep your feet up and try not to stress, call your OB first thing in the morning. Praying for you 💜

Hey mama, last week I experienced something kinda similar. Started with light pink/ brownish mucus and then had a very small blood clot just like yours, I did not have the bright red blood though but I was roughly 5 1/2 weeks. Doctors got me in immediately for an ultrasound and all he saw was a yolk sac, no fetal pole or heart beat so even though I was early I was worried. We followed up with blood work and had a repeat ultrasound today and got to see the heartbeat, the spotting had completely stopped. Praying for you!

It’s possible you are bleeding from the sex or it could be a miscarriage. Going to the ER won’t really help, there isn’t anything they can do for you. I’m sorry this is happening I know it’s scary but rest tonight and wait until the morning and call your doctor.

It could also be a subchorionic hemorrhage. I had bleeding like this off and on for 4 weeks and that was the cause. Good luck!
