Not sure if Im posting in the right place but desperately wanting some advice. I just finished my first <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">ivf</a> cycle. Before this Id had two unsuccessful <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> cycles. Im 36 and no known fertility issues. I did an antagonist cycle. They retrieved 5 eggs, 3 mature, 2 fertilised overnight but by day 3 one only had 3 cells and one only had 2 cells. They put them back in the incubator and booked me in for a day 5 transfer. Day 5 came round and I got a call from the embryologist saying they hadnt grown any more since day 3. So I had nothing to transfer. Im pretty devastated and from what Ive read its like my egg quality. Im worried the FS will write me off and suggest donor eggs. Im already using donor sperm. I think if I cant use my own Ill have to call the whole thing off. Did anyone else on here have such an unsuccessful first cycle and go onto have successful <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>? I didnt expect to get lucky first time but I thought Id get past the lab stage.
