Is 19 too young to get engaged?

Me and my boyfriend talk about marriage all the time, and I honestly think he’s going to propose to me this summer and i’ll be 19 and i’m ecstatic, but I think my family will say we’re stupid and too young.

I got engaged at 19! We’ve been married for 2 years, are both close to graduating college and have baby #1 on the way! I love how we are able to grow together through every stage of life!

My boyfriend proposed on my 20th birthday (a few days before his 24th). We both knew what we wanted out of life. He had recently graduated college and I had a almost two years left, so we spent the next couple years long-distance as I finished school. It was worth the wait. ❤️
We’ve been married seven years and together for ten. I have zero regrets!
Age is not a foolproof measure of maturity. Do you know what you want out of life? Do you have a plan?

It’s all about maturity level, knowing what you really want, etc.  My friend proposed to his now wife when she was 18. There were a lot of people who thought it was doomed, but knowing them I just knew they understood what they were doing and what they wanted. They have been married something like 13 years now, have a bunch of kids, are very, very happy and stable in their marriage.
But then that was them.
