Big bath tub tips for a baby?

My baby is 7 months, sits up on his own, crawls and stands up on his own. He loves bath time and I think it may be time to transition from a baby tub to the real tub. What are the best tips to make sure he doesn’t slip or whack his head or something??

We just got a mat for the bottom of the tub and haven’t had any issues. We did the Gorilla Grip mat off of amazon

Get a spout cover too. I like the elephant one that comes in the bath gift set at Target. You put soap in his trunk and it makes bubbles when you’re filling up the tub.

I've seen a laundry basket as a great option, honestly. Though I have one of the big plastic tubs from walmart

I got one of the little bath seats for my daughter. I tended to take a shower with her in the tub once she got bigger so this made sure she stayed put lol
