Anyone ever find out during pregnancy that their vaccine wore off?

My doctor ran some tests at my 10 week appointment, and she said that my measles vaccine wore off. She said I can’t get a new one until after the baby is born. I am a public school teacher, so the idea that I’m susceptible to measles is so scary!! Anyone else have this happen to them?

Yea, it happens, that's why they do the blood panel. I think they said my rubella wore off and I'll have to get another after I deliver. I thought it was hep b, but I think someone misread the numbers when I first asked about it. Not a big deal either way.

Some do, you have to get a booster after baby, usually at the 2 month shots. I had some done at my first daughters shot appointment, my tetanus and measles.

Vaccines don’t last long. Most wear off way early.

It's pretty common with measles. A majority of adults are not protected against measles because it does wear off over the long term and most adults don't get their boosters.

I have to get one before each pregnancy. I wear it off too.
