How do you make your water break naturally?

Worried that I’ll have to be induced are there ways to have your water break naturally?

Answer

Your water being broken before it’s ready will not put you into labor and is incredibly dangerous and risky. You also cannot make yourself go into labor. There are all kinds of old wives tales out there about what can, but none are true. You will when your body is ready. 
Some of the old wives tales aren’t dangerous at all so go ahead and try but they won’t work. I know off the top of my head that one is eat really spicy food and the other is have sex. (I actually tried both when I was over a week past my due date. Neither worked lol)

Mine popped while I was watching TV. I did not go into labour and had to be induced.
