Is he teething? You can try using a nipple shield which will hopefully help with the pain as there would be a barrier. Keep nipple cream/expressed breastmilk on it, and occassionaly let your breasts air out to promote healing.

Buy a nipple cream, there’s also nipple guard things you can buy as well too help try googling them. It’s gunna take a while for it too heal doe. 
Just make sure his mouth is fully open, I’d have too wait till my son was screaming cause he wouldn’t open his mouth enough, then I’d literally shove it in his mouth before he closed it eventually he learnt too open his mouth wider.

Are both like that?? Try using a nipple shield and make sure you keep them moist...either using your own milk, coco butter or they make cream specifically for that.

Is it possible you guys have thrush? We got it when she was a month or so old, and it hurt SO badly whenever she would latch or I would start pumping. My nipples cracked and bled like that too.

Put expressed breastmilk on your nipples and work on your latch.
