Still hope?

Question

Is there still hope that I could still be pregnant if my hcg levels only from 11000 to 15000 in 48 hours. I’m 7 weeks pregnant. I am having another ultrasound Friday and I am crazy nervous! I am having a some spotting but no cramping. Freaking out. Never had anything like this before 😭😭😭 EDITED TO ADD: ultrasound at 5 weeks just showed the gestational sac and nothing else!

They say HCG approximately doubles every 48-72 hours, so it’s possible you reached double the next day after your second lab draw 🤷🏻‍♀️ also, 5 weeks is very early for and ultrasound and it’s entirely possible they wouldn’t be able to see anything other than the sac at that point. Unfortunately there is nothing else to be done at the moment but wait and see what happens. For many women spotting through the early weeks is normal through the early weeks, as long as you’re not cramping and the spotting isn’t progressing. Take it easy, eat and drink what you can when you can, and get plenty of rest.
