Is there really a difference between cheap and more expensive?

We were given a used high chair, but having gone to clean it because we will be starting solids soon, I found out that it is absolutely filthy. There’s old food and brown stains all over the straps, which won’t come off, and gunk stuck everywhere. I don’t think I will be able to clean it well enough for me to feel comfortable putting my baby in it, so looking to buy a new one 😩

Since this is an unexpected expense, I’m not really prepared to spend a ton on a high chair.

Any suggestions? Has anyone tried the Joovy Nook?
