I am currently 35 weeks with baby number one. He is laying transverse and measuring two weeks behind. They are doing an ultrasound at 36 weeks to see if he’s really behind or if because of positioning they aren’t getting an accurate measurement and also to check the amniotic fluid level. If he is still transverse they are recommending attempting an ECV at 37 weeks. I have done some research and I’m leaning towards the benefit of the ECV not outweighing the risks of it. My husband says absolutely not and wants to just schedule a c section. I will definitely be discussing things further with my dr, but just looking for some input. So does anyone have any advice, opinions, or stories to help with my decision?
