My story....

Kyrie • Mother to a sweet little girl 1/24/2019🌈👧🏼 expecting little Jellybean 12/2023 🤰🏻

Let me start with last month in December I had a 14lb weight gain in the time span of 2 weeks. Then January 18th I had a 20lb weight gain. My doctor had told me she thought she may have missed my gestational diabetes so she ordered some blood orders and a urine sample. That following Monday she had me admitted into the hospital. I had high blood pressure I was anemic I also failed my glucose test that she made me earlier that day and I had protein in my urine. From Monday till Wednesday I had her telling me it was either gestational diabetes or preeclampsia and that she had no clue which one. I also had a nephrologist telling me I most likely had a kidney disease or even lupus and wouldn’t be able to breastfeed. With everything hitting me all at once I felt overwhelmed and unfit to be a mother. Wednesday morning my doctor, a high risk doctor and the nephrologist decided that I needed to be induced. My doctor inserted a balloon catheter later that afternoon. At 6 in the morning on Thursday the catheter finally dropped meaning I was finally 4cm they stopped my pitosen after that. My doctor came in the room at 7 to come check me and I was 5cm she broke my water and took off her gloves through them away as she was about to leave the room I began scream that i felt like I needed to push. She put new gloves on rechecked me and I was already at a 7 the nurses came in she put her special gown on and I was now all the way dialated. I pushed for 2 1/2 hours and gave birth to my 6lb 7oz 19in long miracle rainbow baby. Aleesia Rae. Did it all natural and suffered from 2nd degree lacerations. My original due date was February 21st.
