I make more money than my partner. We’re not married, there’s no ring, and we have been living together for 4 years. He wants me to buy him a truck. As the partner with more income, is this expected of me? We currently both have our own vehicles, but his is older and consumes an obscene amount of gas. For this reason he’ll often use my car, but it’d be nice if we both had our own fuel efficient vehicles. I’m honestly unsure, if the roles were reversed, I don’t think I’d be so bold as to ask for a vehicle. Let me know your thoughts, thanks.
