My kids went to a state approved daycare for the better part of last year and we paid out of pocket so we wanted to claim it on our tax form.

I first messaged her almost 3 weeks ago when she said she would be sending papers out, never received them. Then I contact her again to verify address, she said she would send out another one. After another week and not receiving anything I message her again, no response, sent her a text, no response.

Finally a few days after waiting for a response, I posted on her Facebook daycare page and she finally got back to me today. And this is what she said.

She ended up just sending me a picture of the total we paid by messenger. Its not an official paper or anything and this is my first year claiming daycare expenses so i dont know if thats all the info i need or not. Im just upset about the way she has handled all of this.

My question is, do you guys think i should report her? She is state approved so that is who i would be reporting to, the state, just to say that we never got proper tax information. I just dont think further communication with her is going to get us anywhere.

Had anyone been in a similar situation? What can i do? Do i have any options? Or do i need to report her somewhere else?
