Sex after insertion- how many of you waited?

Hey ladies- had my hormonal IUD inserted 2 days ago and it ended my period rather quickly 🙌🏼, still dealing with some cramps. No spotting so far. Was told to wait 7 days before I can have intercourse again. How many of you actually waited the full 7 days or waited just a couple day, or didn’t wait at all. (I’m getting antsy already. It’s been over a week since the last lay and mama needs the D)

think 3 hours passed tops. nothing ever went wrong, nothing hurt, no preggo or nothin.😉

i had sex the next day but it wasn’t very good because we both were so nervous about messing it up and getting pregnant or hurting me somehow. 
i would suggest waiting at least a couple days

My OBGYN told me I could have sex the day it was inserted. And we did! No issues! It just depends on the doctor tbh.

My doctor told me that my iud doesn’t actually start working until a week after I got it so I definitely waited

It depends on the iud. If they told you to wait than you need to wait
