Narcissistic Ex Boyfriend

So I received this message from my ex boyfriend the other day after he texted me for advice and then got mad when I told him good luck because he thought I was being sarcastic. Back story: we dated for 5 years and he was just awful, he never showed up, he was very emotionally abusive, and would blame me for everything when I treated him so good. Then would apologize and claim he loved me. Well to top it off he OD on drugs and cheated on me. I found out from the other girls’ friends and mom and he tried to deny it when I told him I knew. He also had a kid with her but couldn’t be bothered to show up for me ever. Then he texted me about a month ago apologizing and trying to be friends and tell me he’s changed after he found out she cheated and the kid wasn’t his. Clearly he hasn’t changed but I’ve made peace with that. I don’t need him. I’m in a new relationship and I’m so happy. I have an amazing job and the guy I’m with sees me almost every day. Also I live at home because I’m saving up money for graduate school (after giving up a fellowship for the piece of shit mentioned above). Ladies just remember to never let someone treat you like this and that it’s never too late to leave. It gets better. I promise. ❤️
