Manual D&C (no anesthesia) vs Endometrial Biopsy

So December 2017 I had a miscarriage but my doctor opted for a manual D&C!! Meaning no anesthesia at all! Being young and naive I went with it!! WORST DECISION EVER!!!!

Now my doctor wants to do an endometrial biopsy and I am very hesitant. I’ve read all the horror stories and I don’t have much faith in this doctor after my last experience!

They seem like very similar procedures so I’m freaking out a little.

So any advice on the procedure? Is it easier then a manual D&C?

BTW I would switch doctors but I am active duty and that’s not really an option.
