Subchorionic hematoma
Omg what a terrifying 24 hours.
So last night I ended up taking myself up to a&e cos I just randomly started bleeding. Up there for 4 hours have bloods done and then just waiting around. Discharged at 2.30am and I didn't sleep all night with worry. Lucky for me, I had been squeezed in for an emergency scan 1.30pm the next day (today) so I didn't have to worry for too long.
Obviously the worse thing was going around my head as I had experienced it before.
When we got into the scan room, I didn't want to look at the screen, I was terrified. But there they were.. little pudding jumping and bouncing around the screen without a care in the world. My heart just filled with joy, and I had never felt so relieved in my life. Baby is also measuring a week ahead of what we thought!
But it would appear the bleed was from a hematoma. I had no clue what this meant, but after reading up on it, apparently it's very common! Any ladies here experienced this?
