I delivered yesterday and tonight while my husband started changing her she started choking. They are keeping her in the nursery tonight for observations. Apparently she went to spit up but couldn't get it out. They are thinking her esophagus may be too small. Also the milk she was spitting up was eaten 3 hours ago and was curdled. We are so stressed and freaked out. We are also keeping this to ourselves because we do not want to freak out our family until we know more. I would usually call my mom but our 11 year old is with her and really do not want her to worry.

We were able to bring her home sarurday, Feb 9. So far everything has been normal. Docs believe she was having a delayed transition, which usually aren't as long or as severe as what Aerilyn experienced. Thank you all for your support and prayers.
