I remember the first and only time someone asked me on a date in high school and I said no, but looking back, I wish I said yes. I talked to him a lot in class, and we joked around, but I also thought he was a dork. But I should have given him a chance to get to know him and maybe I would've ended up liking him after all. Besides, I was (and still am) kind of a dork too ☺

I had a really good friend that asked me to the movie and I said yes not intending to date him.. he made advances the whole movie and made me uncomfortable bc I only wanted to be friends. The next day I told him to I don’t have feelings for him and I “broke his heart” although I think he was over reacting I did lead him on. I had fun but if you’re considering going maybe go in a group so you don’t lead him on or make it clear before that your not interested

I don't think it's bad to say yes even if you never thought of them that way because there's still a chance, and maybe it just never crossed your mind enough for feelings to grow. If you let it go much farther and you don't feel anything then it's bad, but if you want to give something a shot there's usually not much harm in that!

I think u can give the person a first date. Maybe u dont have feelings for them simply because u haven't ever even seen them in that way, so I wouldnt consider that leading them on. I think it's leading a person on when u go on a second and third date and u r 100% sure there will never be any feelings.

Depends... if you really want to get to know them and see if you may develop feelings I would. But make it clear and definitely don’t set off cues that lead them on.
My husband asked me out on a date and I decided to go because I was interested in him but had no set feelings. That first date confirmed my feelings for me though 🙂
