Boyfriend hit me...?

So my boyfriend came home from work and fell asleep as usual on the chair. He gets angry with me if I do not wake him to come to bed, so after I got our daughter to bed, I sat down watched some tv and ate some food. After I'm done, i go to try and wake him and he yells at me to go away. Usually he's like that so I just touch him to try and get him to wake up to come on to bed. I don't know if he was awake or not, but he seemed responsive enough. He grabbed me, threw me to the ground bruising my skin near my rib. I believe in second chances, but we already have such a crumbling relationship. Should I just let this slide this time and hope it does not happen again...? I am 18 and so is he. Our daughter
