That I keep going back to what hurt me, I always take him back because I love him. He has cheated, lied, and abused me verbally. He has made me insecure because the woman he has left me for are way prettier than me. I know I’m able to leave him I’m just afraid to be alone. I don’t believe in happiness anymore he broke me

You don’t love him. You love the idea of love. You NEED to be alone. You need to love everything about who you are to be able to be satisfied with someone else. I truly believe in having everything I want from myself and having someone to share it with if I decided to. If you do this, letting go of toxic people will be and absolute breeze.
