Flu! Am I wrong?

Long story short I have helped keep my friends son since he was 1. He is now 5. She recently had to get emergency custody because of some crazy issues with dad. So anyways I watch him pretty much every weekend and any night she works during the week and she will pick him up at 6 am before I leave for work.

She’s a bartender at a restaurant in our area. She was off mon &tues and asked if I was still watching him wed. I said yea cuz I always do.

Come Wednesday she text me at 3 pm and said she was leaving the drs office and he had the flu. She then informed me that she was packing all of his meds and would see me soon.

I felt bad but I was like i really think you need to stay with him id want my mom if I had the flu and plus I don’t want the flu germs all over my house. My stepson was coming over the next day.

I asked about him tonight and she said she found a friend to keep him. I feel kind of upset cuz I do so much for him and I feel like I should have kept him but my family can not afford the flu!
