Magnesium was started thursday night to prevent seizures and Friday morning at 4 am pitocin was placed. Mommy didn’t take any medicine until she was 7 cm dilated and all she took was some pain meds in her IV. She went from 7 to 10 in 20 minutes... Started pushing at 4:16 and baby Mateo was here at 4:27pm. Born with his cord around his neck at 36+2 he weighed 6.0lbs and was 18” long. He had an 8 day NICU stay for being premature and for forgetting to breathe for 25 seconds after birth. He gave mommy and daddy a heart attack, but he is the great blessing to ever enter our lives.
