Panorama wrong?

I had the NIPT Panorama done at 10w2d. My fetal fraction was 4.4%. It came back low risk and girl (which we are over the moon because we already have a little boy. Of course the low risk part is the best. Has anyone had the panorama done and it turn out to be incorrect?

I don’t think there is anyway it can be wrong, it’s chromosomes either the chromosomes are there or they aren’t... I had mine done at 11 weeks and found out I’m having a girl too

Its not incorrect!! Its a clinical blood test

It’s very accurate but you can always use your 20 week scan to confirm.

There are two ways you can get the gender wrong with these tests: 1) they mix up your sample and someone else's who is not having the same gender (super rare, they have lots of procedures in place to prevent this) 2) you (very) recently we're pregnant with a boy and still have some DNA from him in your system, but you are now pregnant with a girl. And then there's the possibility of not enough of a sample, but that will give you an invalid result, not a gender at all.
