What to expect when taking clomid?

After my period starts my doctor is going to prescribe me clomid. What should I expect for side effects & such. How many of you have gotten a positive on your first round? I just really want it to work. I’m so beyond ready for a baby!!

This is my 3rd month using Clomid, 2 round of IUI with Clomid. The main side effect I have is that it makes me aaaangry. 
Like if something happens that would just annoy me (like ordering a hamburger and instead they give me a cheeseburger) I don't feel annoyed I get angry (and want to THROW the cheeseburger out the window instead of just being slightly irked and scraping the cheese off 🤦‍♀️) 
I also tend to get headaches. 
Most women recommend taking it at night to limit how much you feel the effects. This month I tried that and did notice a reduction in headaches- I still tend to have a really short temper though.

Currently taking my first round days 3-7 at 50mg. 
I haven’t had any negative side effects. 
The only side effect I’ve had is my husband says I’m more clingy than usual 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

I was on clomid for the max amount of months and like above posters, it made me angry. I am generally very laid back and I would flip like a switch. I also had horrible emotional ups n downs if I drank. Tread lightly , and not to absolutely terrify you but I also put on a bunch of water weight. The 1st cycle after stopping we got pregnant ! Starting my second round tomorrow, taking at night cd 3-7 and staying at 100 mg. First cycle really just hot flashes that woke me up. If anything mood wise, I was super chill. There was two incidents that happened during those 5 days that would have normally irritated me and I had a “whatever” type of attitude that was hilarious to me later.

I’ve had a few hot flashes. My head was sensitive but by taking my pills at night I avoided the brunt of most of the headaches. I was super exhausted the day I ovulated. Also, my ovaries felt like huge swollen balloons. 
Now in my TWW hoping for the best. 
Let’s just say I could definitely do a few more rounds as the side effects were manageable to me.

I’m currently on my 4th round. I’ve had a lot of hot flashes and my husband says I’m a lot meaner 🙄😅

I took it at night cd3-7 and had no major side effects all three cycles. I had some muscle aches but that was it. I do bbt, and the last cycle, my temps were a little higher than normal while on it, but not major.
