Nap times?

My 15 month old only takes 30-45 min nap a day. Everyone keeps saying my baby is overly tired and that’s why he wakes at night. I’ve tried to lay him down for a second nap and he won’t sleep. No mater what I do. How long does everyone’s baby sleep?

We've just transitioned to 1 nap, we put him down around 1pm and he usually sleeps about 2h.

One nap a day at 11/11:30 and it’s 2.5 to 3 hours

1-1 1/2 hours once a day somewhere between 12 to 2:30 pm. Sleeps 10,5 hours at nights. About 11,5-12 hours a day in total since she born. Everyone says it is not enough- especially when she was a new born-and she should sleep more but she has been like this forever. She seems tired somedays but she can’t sleep. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My daughter still naps 2x a day for 45m- 2hr each time. She sleeps 11-hours at night like clock work. Consistency is key to getting them to sleep well. Any inconsistency in routine can definitely screw up their sleep patterns. I don’t think one short nap a day is the issue as long as there’s a strong routine for bedtime

Mine takes one nap a day around 12:30-1pm and sleeps 1-2hrs and some days only 30 mins 🤦‍♀️ everyday it’s different

Mine sleeps 2+ hours a day. 
Is your son cranky during the day? If not he’s probably fine. Have you tried putting him down earlier? Sometimes if you miss that good tired feeling they’ll sleep less.

How’s your routine? We have a very consistent routine. So much so that my daughter now initiates her nap. Maybe the issue is the routine?? 
To answer your question: my daughter naps anywhere from 45min - 2.5 hours. It depends on how well she sleeps at night and for how long. She is (currently) a decent sleeper except when sick/teething

My lo is down to one nap but it’s not too often she sleeps longer than an hour which is frustrating. I find if we leave the house and go do an activity in the morning she sleeps longer so I’ve tried signing her us up for stuff or even just getting out to the store or library. It’s hard though on days when it’s awful out and we can’t get outside.
