SO’s band.

Alright people I need advice and opinions. Sorry for the about to be long post but I’m beyond annoyed.

My boyfriend is in a heavy metal band as of recently (so happy and extremely supportive of this, something he’s been wanting to do for such a long time). 3 of the band members live in our town and the other 2 live about an hour and a half away. There are several things about the two guys that live two hours away that have recently Infuriated me. Like I’m a quiet person, I tend to stand by, let things play out but I’m literally about to blow up at the next practice I attend because several things are happening that I find extremely unfair to the 3 members who live in town.

The first thing that irks me is that, the 2 members that live an hour away expect the 3 members to drive there for every single practice. Which is 2-3 times a week. I have voiced this and I said they need to alternate or something, that it’s unfair for the 3 people who live in the same town to drive every single week to practice when they outnumber the 2 who live away.

Which I found out they were supposed to be alternating but the two guys away from town constantly complain about the weather. (Recent snow we have gotten) which has been worse in my town than the surrounding towns honestly.

The second thing that has really REALLY pissed me off is that whoever is booking their shows is booking shows 2 hours away from either town (the person in charge of booking is one of the two guys that lives an hour 1/2 away). Which then means late night shows, late night drives home. Which wouldn’t be a problem but this is where I get to be the pissed off girlfriend... a few weeks ago they had a show a total of 3 hours away (from my home town, along with my bf and the other 2 guys from our town) it was 2 hours away from the other guys’ town. The weather was literally blizzard like conditions. Extremely unsafe to be driving. So, my bf and the 2 guys had planned on crashing at one guys house, so that they wouldn’t have to drive in the horrible weather back to our home. Well... the guy wouldn’t let them stay. It took my boyfriend 4 hours tocget home... driving in blizzard conditions.. going 30mph. He got home at 4:30am. They had left the show venue at 10. I was furious. Risking the safety of 3 people, making them drive in that weather is SHITTY.

So now. Tonight they have a show that is, 2 hours away again. (1 hour from the other town) but the show is a late show again and I said to my boyfriend and the two members that live near us, that they need to check and make sure they can stay there. And not drive home so late, because it’s just not safe. Well, I just heard from my boyfriend that again, the one guy isn’t letting them stay at his house. So my boyfriend will be driving home for 2 1/2 hours at probably 3am.

I’m literally about to blow up at the next practice I attend. They should be concerned with the safety of the other members. Am I wrong for being this annoyed? I told my bf and the 2 guys here that the next show they have that’s closer to our town, don’t even consider showing decency to the other guys, don’t let them stay here until they show the same respect.

Im just concerned about their safety and such.
