Pregnant? miscarriage? Period?

OK ladies, I need some definite feedback! So I am 29 years old. Just got married three months ago to my husband and we have been trying to conceive since. I have an 8 year old daughter from a previous relationship. I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) 10 years ago. Some of you may or may not know what that is, but quickly to summarize, this means that I was found to have several cysts on my ovaries and my hormone levels are literally all over the place. My cycle does not regulate consistently. I can go from having a period every two weeks to every couple months... somehow, I managed to conceive my beautiful daughter a year after diagnosis. My last period was December 11-16. It was fairly light using pantry liners only. For the past two weeks I have been having a lot of symptoms that would look similar to pregnancy. The biggest one I noticed most was the soreness of my breasts. They are literally not touchable without hurting, spilling out of my bra. This has been going on for two weeks now. Usually when I’m going to get my period my breasts might sometimes hurt a little bit but not to this extent. I have been having mood swings, some hot flashes, insomnia, frequent urination (typical for me) and so forth. I took three tests about a week to a week and a half ago and all were negative. As almost a full week passes I decided to test again since my period has not shown yet with the symptoms still present and a faint line appears. I Almost had to squint to see it but it was there. That was this past Tuesday, so five days ago. Since then, I have taken a total of 10 tests to see if any would bring more “clarity.” (Crazy, I know...). Today’s test, the second line was still faint but appeared within that three minutes to be “valid” and it was the most “dark” out of l the ones I’ve taken yet. Here is my concern. The same time that I took the test I noticed that there was some bleeding. It’s not been heavy but when I wipe I noticed a little bit of dark reddish brownish blood on the toilet paper. normally when I’m going to get my. I will start spotting a brown color first before having any red color at all. Of course now I’ve been doing a lot of research on mild cramping and bleeding during early pregnancy. I’m having a really hard time wrapping my mind around what is normal and what is not normal. Right now I’m almost starting to convince myself that this may be the start my period but why would all 10 tests be positive with hCG and a faint line if it’s just my period? I have an ultrasound scheduled Tuesday to check it all out but my mind is going crazy until then :( is it possible for a second line to show if it’s just your “period”??
