My husband goes every time he can. He isn’t always off work though. Sometimes I have to bring my older kids if they don’t have school or I always have to bring my baby who is almost 6 months. It won’t make the dr feel uncomfortable a lot of people bring people to their appointments. This is an exciting time and it’s good to share it with people. When I got pregnant with my first I was only 17 and my mom went to a lot of appointments with us. My husband never misses and ultrasound. If he wants to be there let him.

I didn’t vote, because it really just depends. He should be involved if he WANTS to be involved. My SO attended the first appt for our first baby, he was super excited, and it was a really special experience for us. However if he didn’t want to go, I think it would spoil the experience. So it all depends on your situation!

Completely up to you both! I’ve always included/invited my husband and he always makes a point to be there. I honesty didn’t think he would be like that 100% but I think he’s more curious and worried about things than I am 😂 it’s nice to experience. I also let him know that I’m totally fine going on my own if he cant re-schedule jobs or just isn’t into it that day but I think he likes to see and hear things for the first time right along with me. He’s super quiet though so he just sits there quietly with a little smile but before we go in and right after we leave he’s a motor-mouth with a thousand questions and opinions!!

I would ask him if he wants to go. Some guys are not really into it I guess but others want to be there for everything. After all its his child too. Plus actually being there and the experience of it all makes it that much more real. So I'd just ask what he thinks about it. :)

I like having a second opinion when meeting doctors. Ultimately my husband will go with my decision but I like having his opinion on the matter. Unfortunately mine hasn’t gotten to go to any appointment with me for this pregnancy.

Not to mention the whole pregnancy  brain thing Lol. I don't know how many times a doctor told me something or asked me a question about something and I either forgot or just couldn't remember.  So it's nice to have that second brain there with you some days haha.
