If you went to a wedding: would you prefer cake or a variety of desserts?

My cousin did a variety of like 6 or so cupcakes for his wedding. Like the big kind with a lot of frosting and an oreo on top type of cupcake. Everyone loved being able to go up and pick their own. I would still do a small cake for you to cut but if I were to do it over I'd do that.

I had cupcakes for a wedding cake and my three aunts made their speciality deserts and only the cupcakes were eaten. They were a huge hit as nobody had to cut the cake and you could just walk up and grab them.

Personally, I LOVE cake but I can see why having a variety of desserts would be thoughtful. It probably wouldnt even cross my mind not to just have cake if I were getting married haha
