How did y’all know y’all had endometriosis?!

I want to know cause I’m clueless about how you find out.

I don’t have it but I have a best friend that does. It took them 7 years to figure out that she had it through tons and tons of tests and surgeries. She also has PCOS. Her OBGYN put her body into menopause for 6 months to help her with the pain and to see if it helps with any of her issues. 
She was in severe pain for years and with the right doctor, it was finally found. She even wound up in my ER about 4 times doubled over in pain, 1 visit ended up with her gallbladder being removed. 
She’s still suffering

My doctor told me I would only know 100% if I had surgery

A doctor would have to of course diagnose, but some symptoms are: lower abdomen & back pain, heavy periods, irregular periods, very painful periods, spotting, nausea and even infertility.

I had a lot of pain during sex, I also had really bad cramps during my period and after. Than my dr did a laparoscopy and found it.
