Going down on him?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost a year but we’ve known each other for three years so it’s not like we’re not comfortable with each other, we have sex and it’s good but I feel like I’m not enjoying it as much as he is. He finishes every time and I almost get there but never actually do, I don’t know if I should tell him because I don’t want him to put himself down. If that makes sense ?

The more important thing is going down on him.. I do NOT like it at all, I’ve done it a couple times but I absolutely hate it. He goes down on me every time we have sex and I think he really likes it but I’m not sure if that’s his way of asking me to go down on him.? I think he kinda knows I don’t like it. But I don’t know what to do about it.

We’re both 18 and I know we still have a lot of things to learn sexually but is giving blowjobs something that I’m going to end up liking or something I’m going to have to tolerate ? Please give me advice
