When do you announce?

Hi! I have two boys already (7 and 5) and I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant. I’ve had 4 miscarriages since my 5 year old, all last year so I’m terrified to tell anyone too soon. Do you wait till 12 weeks? Later? After gender? With the boys my husband and I told fairly early bc we had no fear of loss back then.

We told our parents around 5 weeks since they would be a huge support for us if anything happened. I told my boss right away since there are some work restrictions based on the types of chemicals I work with. We told friends and other family and coworkers at 13 weeks after my genetic screening blood work and nuchal scan came back looking good.

That's so hard.  I just went thru my 3rd miscarriage.  I always say I'm going to wait until I'm I'm the coolest but end up telling people.
