Heartbeat in ears... anyone else?

Question

Started last night when I laid down to bed. It’s my left ear only, and the only way I can describe it is a heartbeat. Googling it, and reading it can be a sign of preeclampsia (I had borderline pre-e with my daughter). Just wondering if anyone else is dealing with this?

I’ve had this for quite a while, it comes and goes since pre pregnancy. Although sometimes more noticeable than others, I guess it depends how much I’m in tune with it. Lately it’s been fine, but there had been periods where it was driving me crazy but i would find ways to distract myself. My doctor wasn’t concerned. He did some checks and said it was fine 🤷🏻‍♀️ nothing concerning for him.
